About Dental X-Ray
Dental X-rays allow your dentist a picture of your teeth and bones ie;the hard tissues and the soft tissues that surround your teeth and jawbones.
Along with an oral examination, they provide your dentist with a more complete view of what’s happening in your mouth.
Dental X-rays can also detect an impending infection or injury. It also can help in limiting or preventing further damage to other areas of the mouth as many tooth and gum problems are undetectable with the naked eye.
We conduct an Orthopantomogram (OPG) to look for:
- Dislocated jaw
- Dentition (teeth)
